After a year of incredibly hard work to drive record DVD sales through their ever inventive techniques to market their titles, video distributors, their suppliers, customers and guests gathered at the Battersea Park Arena to celebrate their successes.
Thanks to the generosity of the Awards Sponsors, Sony DADC, who gave the audience a flavour of their hi-def capabilities, the BVA was able to accommodate over 800 guests in the purpose built presentation theatre to
learn who this year’s judging panel had selected to win an award out of marketing and retail categories, plus consumers’ favourite British DVD voted for on line.
The 2007 awards ceremony was presented by John Barrowman, best known as the dashing Captain Jack in Torchwood and Doctor Who and he was accompanied by a number of personalities and awards sponsors to hand over the prized silver trophies.
Huge thanks go to Sony DADC, as well as the reception sponsors, OpSec and all the individual awards sponsors for their magnificent support.
