BVA ANNOUNCES ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND RECEPTION

5th October 2012: The British Video Association is pleased to announce that its Annual General Meeting and Reception will take place at the May Fair Hotel in London on Wednesday 14th November 2012.

The AGM will commence at 4.45pm with the drinks reception from 6.00pm to 8.30pm

The British Video Association exists to champion video entertainment in all its forms from packaged media such as DVD, Blu-ray Discs and 3D Blu-ray Discs through to digital services available on demand to rent or to own, on portable devices and for home consumption.

The proliferation of content delivery channels is increasing consumer choice and the video industry releases about 7,000 titles a year amounting to a UK retail value of £2.3 billion, making it the most valuable part of the audiovisual industry.

The BVA’s members include film companies, television companies and independent labels who produce, license and distribute pre-recorded video entertainment, covering film, sport & fitness, music, TV, children’s and special interest programming. Its members account for some 90% of the sector.
