Sweet Karma

Canadian revenge thriller telling the story of a beautiful mute Russian girl who turns vigilante to avenge the death of her sister. Shy, mute Karma Balint (Shera Becherd) is left behind in Russia when her sister Anna (Patricia Stasiak) leaves for Canada to find a better life and earn some money for them both by working as a maid. But after her sister's departure, Karma never hears from her again. Later, she learns that Anna has been killed by the Russian mob. Determined to exact revenge on those responsible for her sister's murder, Karma follows Anna's trail through the strip joints, lap dancing clubs and brothels of Toronto, where she comes face to face with some of the most vicious elements of the city's criminal underground.
