Kill the Record Labels

Documentary about the changes hip hop artists made in the record industry and the response of the record companies. Rappers such as 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Chamillionaire were unhappy with the way hip hop was controlled by the industry so they began to market their own music. The record labels and the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) have since been in battle with these artists - stores have been closed, offices have broken into and many involved have been arrested.
