Art Lives: Wassily Kandinsky

Documentary about artist Wassily Kandinsky. Although Kandinsky did not become involved in art until later in his life, he was a pioneer in abstract painting with modernistic approaches in his works such as 'Der Blaue Reiter' (The Blue Rider) and 'Bauhaus'. Along with Mussorgsky's 'Pictures from an Exhibition,' director Andre Labarthe takes a look at the art movement through its colours and forms.
