Stalin: Man of Steel

Documentary on the controversial Russian leader who was responsible for the infamous Great Purge in which many dissidents were summarily executed or put in prison camps for their beliefs. Stalin was the leader of the Soviet Union from 1941 until his death in 1953. Though known for committing horrendous crimes in his own country, he is often celebrated for his role in defeating Hitler and the Nazis in World War II. This documentary takes an in-depth look at his life and includes an interview with one of his granddaughters.
