BVA Yearbooks

The BVA Yearbook is published on an annual basis.

Considered “an essential guide to one of the largest audiovisual sectors in the UK” the 18th edition of our Yearbook is now available to buy.

For the first time the report details value as well as volume for all the physical retail and rental sections. It also looks at how technological developments alter the way people lead their lives, including their leisure habits and preferences, it incorporates digital data on electronic sell-through (EST) video-on-demand (VoD), as well as the rental sector with a breakdown by platform. This values the entire video entertainment sector at £2.59 billion, split between retail at £2.17 billion and rental at £428 million.

In addition to the detailed pages of market analysis on past years, the 2011 year book includes comprehensive Industry Directory, listing contact details for the major distributors, retailers, industry bodies, marketing, print media and PR agencies, cinema exhibitors and screening rooms and creative services in the video entertainment industry.
