We are cross representative of the entire video entertainment industry. Our members encompass large and small film studios, television companies, and independent video labels.

We also service the needs of hardware brands, manufacturers, wholesalers, facility houses and other suppliers.

Our members account for over 90% of an industry worth nearly £2.3 billion, making it the most valuable part of the audio visual industry .

The BVA was established 30 years ago to represent the interests of publishers and rights owners of pre-recorded video entertainment. Today, around 8,000 titles are released every year in the UK, on DVD, Blu-ray Discs and 3D Blu-ray Discs through to Digital TV-based and web-based internet services, available to rent or to own on portable devices and for home consumption.
